Liu Xiang
China and Asia's most famous athlete was afflicted by injury to his Achilles tendon for the 2008 Olympics.
After years of training and commitment one can only try to imagine the pain and devastation the great Liu Xiang is suffering. We can but hope his determination will allow him to rise above this challenge and we will see him at the next Olympics.
